The main reason I would not use Ubuntu in the past for all my premium rapidshare downloads, was I did not have enough knowledge of the software available. In fact I am still in the dark as to what is out there, so I decided to write a post on my blog UbuntuDan and get educated at the same time. I hope this helps someone.

I install upgrade package of ubuntu 8.10 tomorrow, because somethink wrong, installing process was interupted. and when i try to installing package again, there is a error message:
E:dpkg was interupted,you must manually run “dpkg –configure -a” to correct the problem.
E:_chache->open failed(), please report.

I’m a newbie, so i wish to all of bro advice me a solution about this problem, please. thx b4

this list is useful but they are many other command-line download managers going under development such as Aria2c which is amazing, I use it in combination with flashgot, it support resuming, multi-connction, global and local file configuration, light-weight, but it -as same as others-lacks the schedule download list and compatible, easy to use graphical user interface,

Im downloading a huge file with all D manager you people talked before. But the PROBLEM is that i CAN’T RESUME the file when i paused it using any of these..
Please Any suggesions..
