I have had trouble in the past with my windowIn the past I had trouble with my windows registry. I tried to learn how to fix it myself because I though I could fix something simply. I ended up crashing the computer. I had a hard time even getting to my restore points to restore to a previous session. Now I use a competent windows registry cleaner to help navigate or fix my windows registry. There are so many programs out there that do a good job. Just find a competent one and use it. There are even free ones out there that are decent. Though I think it is better to get a paid one since they tend to clean faster and look for and correct many more problems.s registry. I have messed around it myself because I though I could fix something simply. I ended up crashing the computer. I had a hard time even getting to my restore points to restore to a previous session.
I too have had trouble with the registry. I learned a long time ago that registry cleaner utilities really work. My first computer was a windows computer running xp. After using it for awhile I found that it slowed down. I didn't know what to do. I thought it might be defective. I friend told me about registry cleaners and I tried one. I think I tried Regcure. Well long story short it really sped it up. Now I use Vista and I still use Regcure for it. I also have Registry Mechanic on a laptop. They both work and I run them religiously every few weeks.
